Chicago suburb debuts electric paratransit fleet

Schaumburg, Illinois, has taken a significant step toward cleaner, more inclusive transportation with the launch of its first electric paratransit fleet. The project combines Polara’s turnkey charging infrastructure, including multiple 60 kW dual‑connector fast chargers and integrated energy‑management hardware with Cleo’s intelligent charging platform to ensure every vehicle is ready for service while keeping energy costs under control.
