Merchandising Strategy Lead

As the Merchandising Strategy Lead, you will play a key role in the success of major strategic projects aligned with the 2035 Plan. You will oversee the merchandising of products and offerings, contributing actively to understanding customer needs, behaviors, usage patterns, and market trends. You will develop commercial strategies to achieve business objectives by activating offers through the appropriate channels.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy merchandising strategies for products and services, as well as marketing directions aimed at improving business results, enhancing the customer experience, and optimizing operational performance across all Hydro‑Québec customer segments.
  • In collaboration with partners and stakeholders, identify and track objectives and results related to merchandising and marketing for various initiatives and service go‑to‑market programs.
  • Ensure alignment of Hydro‑Québec’s offers and services to deliver a simple and needs‑based customer experience.
  • Develop Hydro‑Québec’s annual merchandising plan for residential, commercial, and/or business customers, and support its implementation to ensure objectives are met.
  • Define go‑to‑market strategies using the optimal channels at the right moment in the customer lifecycle to achieve business goals.
  • Oversee offer performance tracking, post‑mortems, activities, and required tools in collaboration with internal teams to ensure results delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or another relevant field.
  • A minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience.
